神垕镇历史悠久，文化底蕴深厚，一直以来是我国北方的文化重镇和著名的陶瓷之乡，素有“南景德，北神垕”之称，更有“活着的千年古镇”之美誉，在这里，古寨、古窑、古庙、古院落、古民居比比皆是，随处可见。神垕老街俗称“七里长街”，是神垕人千百年来生产生活、烧窑制瓷的聚集地，也是钧瓷文化发展和繁荣的见证。

Shenhou old street is common known as the "Seven Miles Long Street" where Shenhou people live for production over one thousand years, Ceramic and porcelain making gathering area , Also the witness of the Jun porcelain culture development and prosperity.

为了进一步改善老街落后的面貌，有效改善群众居住环境，解决群众就业，增加群众收入，助推神垕旅游发展，神垕镇党委政府按照乡村振兴战略二十字方针的总要求，以创建国家5A级景区为目标，把“全域旅游”作为乡村振兴的有力抓手，与上海绿地集团博大绿泽公司合作，投资3.5亿元人民币，实施了老街保护修复一期工程，主要对老街街道、伯灵翁庙、8个重点院落、寨门、大炮楼、迎风阁等关键节点进行了保护性修复，不仅改善了群众的居住环境，使古镇老街又焕发了新颜，而且带动了老街群众创业就业，有效地增加了收入。现在老街已经成为神垕古镇旅游的重要支撑。

Old street has now become an important support in Shenhou Town.
